Pete was born and raised in North Vancouver and is from the Squamish Nation, He proudly carries the ancestral name Sxw’alhkin gifted to him from his late Grandparents. Pete graduated from Sutherland Secondary high school and continued his studies at Capilano University.
This Every Child Matters design represents the “Salish Eye” with a heart in the middle, the Salish Eye reflects that the Creator and our Ancestors are watching over us. I choose to have the heart in the Salish Eye to share the love and compassion we have for lost loved ones and the love we share for each other as a community.
Pete’s proud to work with an all Squamish Nation support team that helps design, produce and print all shirts that range from LGBTQ2+ Pride shirts, Sport s Team shirts, Staff shirts, Custom Family Crest shirts, Anti Bully shirts, and these Every Child Matters shirts.
$5 from every purchased is being donated to support the Indigenous Life Sport Academy.
Consider donating your orange shirt that you have outgrown. Shirts can be dropped off at the school's main reception or at the M Store. The orange shirts will be donated to Britannia Elementary School community.
